In the beginning

Happy New Year!! Big doings here. A new year, a new "private" computer......my very own, and a new blog. Who knows how long this will last!?!?!?

Christmas was great. We were able to attend the grandchildrens' Christmas programs at their schools and be in on all the holiday fun. Logan with his first grade class in his very first necktie and Ivy (on left) with best friend Emma.

Our major project this season is a remodel of Katie and Mike's master bed/bath. We arrived on Dec.6 and demo began the 7th. Things are progressing nicely. We don't have a finish date yet, but hopefully by the middle of the month.

Right now we are at Krista and Andy's house in Utah. Needed a break from the construction! It is nice to relax and visit with them. We had a challenge getting here.... traffic was awful, had trouble finding fuel for the truck, and then....they had some snow and thawing, but we did not arrive in the area until after the refreeze. We couldn't make a rather small hill on the way, so we called Andy with the 4-wheel drive and with some help from a backhoe, we finally made it. Ya, shoulda taken pictures.

Ok. We will be on our way back to CA on the 4th to finish the job. Hope that I will be able to do this blogging thing on my own......if not this was a rather short career.
