Remember Me????

Ok, so it has been quite some time. When friends email to ask if they are missing something or if I really haven't posted since FEBRUARY, I guess I'd better get busy!

Since February, we made a 3 week trip to Minnesota, South Dakota and on to Phoenix for Brooke and Bobby's wedding. We were also thrilled to have a little Apple Valley (CA) reunion. It is amazing that our little kids grew up and have kids of their own. This is the first time they all got to meet and we had a great time.

The wedding was great! Lovely couple. This was a first for Logan and Ivy......he was not interested in the "kissing part" and that is the part she was most interested in. Go figure. Logan did find a dance partner and put on quite a show at the reception......they were great!!

Back at home the end of March and we had approval of the quilting studio plans. So, things started to happen....new septic, trees knocked down and cut up, and finally some framing so I can really see where it will be and how big it is....NOW I AM EXCITED!!!!!

Ivy and Katie visited for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk/Houston. While Kate and I walked, Ivy took care of Papa. They did just fine too. She is growning into a lovely little girl. They were able to visit the Houston Children's Museum, the zoo and come to cheer along our route. Don't ask me why that picture is on it's side.....I did everything I knew to do and it just wants to be that way....so cock your head! Anyway, Kate and I both discovered that Houston is a beautiful city...one just has to get out of the car and walk!

We are walking in the Santa Barbara walk in September, so the training continues. Neither of us did as much training this time and we both did fine......the feel do appreciate training tho!

No work going on out in back today, so Don and I will go in search of windows, floor tile, and other essentials. Now that work has actually begun, I am getting excited to have space enough to organize everything, host retreats and maybe even develope a schedule of quilting classes. That is some time off tho. Once I have walls and a roof, I'll go there!
OK that's it for tonight. Someone will have to teach me how to get these pictures on here more easily. I fight way too hard. More as life progresses..........
